Filed on 08.03.2010 ********************* f This model is a device for slowing and stopping a sliding door, specifically a curved one, but it can also be adapted to flat doors, both external and pocket doors. The problems with sliding doors, especially those made of glass with considerable inertia, are well known. The present invention aims to solve the aforementioned drawbacks by proposing a slowing and stopping device which is characterised by being essentially composed of a suitably shaped shoe mounted on top of the sliding door, which is perfectly "copied" by the terminal wheel of an elastic piston, fixedly mounted at the end of the sliding guide of the door, in order to progressively counteract its travel. These and other characteristics will now become more apparent in relation to a simple embodiment of the invention given purely as an indication and not as a limitation of the scope of this patent. With reference to the attached drawings in which: TABLE 1 Figs.1,2 details B,A, a front view of the invention in operation and a perspective view are shown. In practice, the construction details, dimensions, materials, shape, and the like of the invention may vary without departing from the scope of this industrial property. Indeed, the invention thus conceived is susceptible to numerous modifications and variations, all of which fall within the scope of the inventive concept. Furthermore, all elements may be replaced with other technically equivalent elements.
Claims
1) STOP-DELAYER FOR SLIDING DOORS Comprising a shoe (4') integral with the upper part of the door leaf (P), which, during the closing phase of the latter, is contrasted, slowed and finally blocked by the presence of a bearing (4) integral with the sliding guide (7) positioned at the “head” of the same. Characterised by the fact that the bearing (4) is pivoted in (16') to the pin (2) which in turn is included in an elastic operating relationship inside the adjustment screw (3), which is screwed via its external thread (10) to the base plate (1) equipped with internal thread (11), characterised by the fact that the connection between the elements (2,3) and (3,4) is made via grains passing through special holes engaged in the respective slots (15,12), further characterised by the fact that the base plate (1), overturned during installation, is fixed to the guide (7) through the slots (8) by means of lag screws. 2) STOP-DELAYER FOR SLIDING DOORS According to the main claim, characterised by the fact that the slide (4'), integral with the door (P) via the body (17), during the closing phase presents to the bearing (4') a first profile (19) with an increasing trend, a stall profile (20), a descending profile (21) and finally a stop gutter (22). 3) STOP-DELAYER FOR SLIDING DOORS According to the previous claims, characterised by the fact that a second slow-down and blocking device could also be positioned at the end of the guide (7). 4) STOP-DELAYER FOR SLIDING DOORS According to the main claim, characterised in that the invention is substantially as described and / or illustrated for the specified purposes.
