Description
DESCRIPTION Scope of application The present invention relates to the technical sector of industry nutraceuticals of food supplements. 5 In particular, the invention relates to a formulation nutraceutical or a food supplement, based on camel milk. Known art It is known that camel milk is a particularly hypoallergenic as it does not contain beta-casein and other important 10 allergens, such as a reduced lactose content. In fact, milk camel is highly recommended for those who suffer from intolerance to lactose, an intolerance that is increasingly affecting the world's population. It is also known to have an anti-diabetic action as it contains a insulin-like protein that is absorbed without being degraded 15 from digestive enzymes as it is encapsulated by nanoparticles. Numerous scientific researches have highlighted the ability camel milk to improve blood sugar levels and reduce the need for insulin even in the long term in patients with diabetes mellitus of both type 1 than type 2, also improving the lipid profile, oxidative stress 20 and renal and hepatic function. The hypoglycemic activity is due to an action of insulin-like substances, present in high concentration in said milk, which are able to resist the degradation in the acidic environment of the stomach and the combined action of the other active components of camel milk that act in various ways 25 levels of the metabolic picture of the disease. Camel milk contains compounds that appear to fight various pathogenic organisms. The two main active components of the camel milk are lactoferrin and immunoglobulins, proteins that can give camel milk its immunostimulating properties. 5 Lactoferrin has antibacterial, antifungal properties, antiviral, antiparasitic, anti-inflammatory. In fact, it inhibits growth of E. coli, K. pneumoniae, Clostridium, H. pylori, S. aureus, et C. albicans, organisms that can cause serious infections. The immunostimulatory properties have been confirmed by one 10 studies on laboratory animals in which it was found that milk camel protects against leukopenia and some side effects due to anticancer drugs, such as cyclophosphamide. Furthermore, it is known that lactoferrin, one of the main components of camel milk, appears to have an action in blocking or inhibiting the 15 proliferation of tumor cells. In fact, there are studies that attest in vitro cellular inhibition of colon cancer cells and of hepatocellular carcinoma by camel milk. Consequently, the Camel milk may aid antitumor activity in therapies tumors (1-2). 20 Furthermore, camel milk may have antioxidant properties which help the body fight damage from free radicals. Camel milk can be integrated into the diets of those who are suffering from neurological diseases, such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's or autism, which have oxidative stress among their causes. Nutrition seems to 25 have more and more responsibility in the symptoms and the course of a disease, particularly in neurological diseases, such as autism in which studies have been carried out on ketogenic, gluten-free and gluten-free diets casein (3). Consequently, camel milk could be a food that brings nutritional benefits (4-5). 5 Furthermore, camel milk being low in fat, can be a natural solution or dietary supplement for fatty liver disease non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) induced by a high-fat diet (6), several dyslipidemia, as it can control the level of cholesterol and other lipids circulating (7-8). 10 Furthermore, when camel milk is fermented with probiotics, such as Lactobacillus helveticus and Lactobacillus rhamnosus, may contain bioactive peptides similar to the ACE inhibitors present in camel milk fermented with probiotics, which may have a role in the treatment of hypertension (9-10). 15 The concentration of active ingredients in camel milk can be different depending on the variety of the product and on how it was made treaty. In addition, the preservation of camel milk is also important: exposure to air, light or unsuitable temperatures could lead to a reduction in assets. 20 Although camel milk has undoubted benefits beneficial characteristics as indicated above, is felt in the sector the need to make available a formulation based on milk camel that provides greater nutritional and / or therapeutic benefits compared to the simple oral administration of camel milk 25 through normal power supply.
