Description

DESCRIPTION Attached to a patent application for an INDUSTRIAL INVENTION having by title: “MAGNETIC LOCK FOR A DOOR AND METHOD OF ADJUSTMENT FOR A LOCK OF A WINDOW FRAME” On behalf of: ALBAN GIACOMO SpA Designated Inventor: Giacomo Mario ALBAN ******* TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a magnetic lock for a lock and a method of adjusting a lock. In particular, the present invention falls within the technical field of 5 rotary latch locks. STATE OF THE ART As is known, a rotary latch lock is a type of lock that It features a latch, usually mounted on the window sash, 10 mobile rotating with respect to the lock body to engage inside a meeting generally arranged on the window frame. To ensure effective closing of the window, the sizing of the latch and the meeting must be particularly accurate. In particular, the latch and the strike must be sized so that 15 such that the latch can be housed in the strike. Disadvantageously, the need for accurate sizing makes this type of locks are poorly adaptable, as the characteristics peculiar to each single encounter, for example the taper and / or depth and / or orientation, are sized for a specific latch. 20 Furthermore, the presence of any lights and / or misalignments between the door and the frame have an impact on the effectiveness of the lock closing, as significantly affect the distance / alignment between the latch and the meeting. PURPOSES OF THE INVENTION In this context, it is an object of the present invention to provide provision of a magnetic lock featuring a marked 5 adaptability. A further object of the present invention is to propose a lock magnetic for a window frame and an adjustment method for one lock capable of simplifying installation procedures compared to the known technique. 10 Another object of the present invention is to provide a magnetic lock for a lock and a method of adjustment for a lock that guarantees effective locking of the door. The specified purposes are essentially achieved by a lock magnetic for a window frame and an adjustment method for one 15 lock, which include the technical characteristics set out in one or more than the united claims. Dependent claims correspond to possible forms of realization of the invention. 20 BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Further features and advantages of the present invention will appear. made clearer by the indicative, and therefore non-limiting, description, of a preferred, but not exclusive, embodiment of a lock magnetic for a window frame as illustrated in the attached drawings, in which: 25 - Figures 1A-1B illustrate side views of a magnetic lock in I agree the invention under two operating conditions; - Figures 2A-2B illustrate, respectively, an enlarged view and a partial section view of two construction details of the lock shown in figures 1A-1B; 30 - Figures 3A-4B illustrate a plurality of side views in accordance with respective operating conditions of the magnetic lock shown in the figures 1A-1B; - Figures 5A, 5B and 6 illustrate a plurality of side views in accordance with further possible embodiments of the magnetic lock in accordance with the present invention. DETAILED DESCRIPTION With reference to the attached figures, it has been overall indicated with the numerical reference 1 a magnetic lock for a window frame that In the following it will also be referred to as magnetic lock 1. 10 The magnetic lock 1 includes an installable lock body 2 inside an opening of a window or door. Furthermore, the magnetic lock 1 includes a rotary latch 3 hinged to the lock body 2. As illustrated in the attached figures, the rotary latch 3 is reversible 15 movable between a retracted position (figs. 1B, 3B, 4B), in which it is housed inside the lock body 2, and at least one position extracted (figs. 1A, 3A, 4A, 5A, 5B, 6), in which it is at least partially protruding from the lock body 2 to engage within a meeting of the window frame, thus defining a closing condition of the window frame. 20 Preferably, in the retracted position the rotary latch 3 is fully housed inside the lock body 2. By “extracted position” we mean any condition in which the latch is at least partially protruding from the lock body 2. The magnetic lock 1 comprises selective locking means 4 25 can be activated on the rotating latch 3 to keep it in at least one position extracted, thus defining a locking condition of the rotating latch 3. In other words, the locking means 4 are configured to lock the rotating latch 3 in the extracted position preventing it from returning to the 30 retracted position so as to ensure effective closing of the window frame. Advantageously, the locking means 4 lock the rotary latch 3 in the pulled out position while maintaining a “G” play so such that the latch can adapt the extent of its extracted position in function of the shape of the meeting, for example the taper and / or the 5 depth and / or orientation. In particular, the “G” game allows you to ensure effective closing of the window even in the presence of any gaps and / or misalignments between the door and the frame that lead to a variability of the distance between the latch and the strike. In an even more advantageous way, the “G” game allows you to adapt the 10 magnetic lock 1 both with meetings equipped with a developing magnet parallel to the front of the lock (figs. 5A, 5B) which at meetings equipped with a magnet developing transversely to the front of the lock (fig. 6), so-called inclined strikes. As illustrated in figures 5A, 5B, the game “G” can allow the 15 rotating latch 3 to assume a forward position, in which it is most extracted from the lock body 2 (fig. 5A), and a position rearward, in which it is extracted to a lesser extent from the lock body 2 (fig. 5B). By way of example and not as a limitation, the rotary latch 3 can define a rotation with respect to the lock body between 3° and 9°, 20 preferably 5°, during a movement from the forward position to the rear position. Such a rotation can result, for example, in a game defining an arc of circumference between 5 mm and 12 mm. In accordance with the illustrated example, the magnetic lock 1 comprises, 25 furthermore, a control organ 5 configured to activate the means of locking 4 on the rotary latch 3. Preferably, the control organ 5 is slidably coupled to the lock body 2. For example, the control organ 5 may be configured to scroll along a locking direction “B”, preferably parallel to the front 30 of the lock. As an example, the locking direction “B” can be vertical. In particular, the lock body 2 may include a guide operationally associated with the control organ 5 to allow it easy movement along the locking direction “B”. In accordance with the illustrated examples, the control organ 5 can be 5 at least partially housed inside the lock body 2. With reference to the figures, preferably the locking means 4 are at least partially mounted on the control organ 5. Advantageously, the control organ 5 can have a plate-shaped conformation that allows for minimizing bulk 10 inside the lock body 2. For example, the control organ 5 can be made in the form of a blade of movement. In accordance with some possible embodiments and as illustrated in the attached figures, the locking means 4 may comprise an element 15 locking 6 configured to seat at a distance equal to the play “G” from a corresponding locking portion 13 of the rotating latch. The locking element 6 is configured to intercept the return stroke of the locking portion 13 so as to keep the rotating latch 3 in the locked condition, that is, in such a way as to prevent it from 20 rotating latch 3 recesses inside the lock body 2, while still allowing to the very scrounge of adapting to the meeting, as explained in precedence. Preferably, the locking element 6 protrudes from the locking member. command 5. For example, the locking element 6 can develop along 25 a direction parallel to an axis of rotation of the rotary latch 3. In accordance with the illustrated examples, the control organ 5 is reversibly switchable between an active condition (Figs. 1A, 5A, 5B, 6), wherein the locking element 6 is arranged in such a way as to intercept the return stroke of the locking portion 13 of the latch, and a 30 inactive condition (figs. 1B, 3A, 3B, 4A, 4B), in which the element of blocking 6 does not intercept the aforementioned return stroke, allowing the rotating latch to reach the retracted position. In accordance with a further advantageous aspect and with reference to the phase of retraction of the latch when the control organ 5 is in the aforementioned 5 inactive condition (figures 3A, 4A), the magnetic lock 1 comprises a thrust element 8 that can be activated against a respective portion of movement 15 of the rotating latch 3 to promote one movement at least from the extracted position to the retracted position. Preferably, the push element 8 can be mounted on the drive member 10 command 5 which, as previously mentioned, is smoothly coupled to the lock body 2. In particular, the control organ 5 is reversibly movable along a thrust direction “S” (figure 5A) to promote an activation of the push element 8 so as to drag the movement portion 15 of the latch into motion 15 rotating 3. Preferably, the pusher element 8 moves along a trajectory substantially orthogonal to the axis of rotation of the rotating latch 3. In in other words, the push element 8 is aligned with the hinge point of the rotary latch 3 to the lock body. For example, the direction of 20 “S” thrust can be vertical. As illustrated in the attached figures, the control organ 5 is moved along the thrust direction “S” by means of actuation means 9. In further detail, the actuation means 9 comprise a body of 25 drive 10, typically a hook, operationally associated with at least one drive portion 11, typically a tooth, of the control organ 5 to move it along the thrust direction “S”. Preferably, this drive portion 11 is made of one piece with the previously explained locking element 6. 30 In accordance with the illustrated examples, the magnetic lock 1 comprises a handle kinematically connected to the drive body 10. In accordance with a further advantageous aspect and when the organ of command is in the above active condition (figures 1A, 5A, 5B and 6), magnetic lock 1 comprises active switching means 7 on the control organ 5 to switch it between the active condition and the 5 inactive condition, moving the locking element 6 away from the stroke of retraction of the locking portion 13 of the rotating latch 3, which is therefore in a position to be able to re-enter the lock body 2. For example, such switching means 7 comprise a rotary actuator, defined from a key or from a lever of a so-called bathroom knob or, 10 again, from a latch of a so-called bath cylinder. With reference to the figures, preferably the return of the latch can be alternatively controlled by the actuating means 9, for for example, via a handle that controls the drive body 10 (figure 3B), or via the switching means 7; in the latter 15 case, a first part of rotation of the rotary actuator determines the moving the control organ 5 to the inactive condition (figure 4A), while a second part of the rotary actuator rotation determines the further movement of the control organ 5, so that to activate the push element 8 against the push portion 15, making 20 thus reinsert the rotary latch 3 inside the lock body 2 (figure 4B). With particular reference to figure 2B, the magnetic lock 1 can comprising a magnetic and / or ferromagnetic element 12 mounted on the rotary latch 3. 25 Preferably, the magnetic and / or ferromagnetic element 12 has a first magnetic pole “PM1” which, when facing the meeting, can interact with the encounter by generating a magnetic driving force “FMM” (fig. 2B) designed to promote movement of the rotating latch 3 from the retracted position to the extracted position. 30 By way of example and not limitation, the magnetic element and / or ferromagnetic 12 can be made at least partially of neodymium Advantageously, the magnetic and / or ferromagnetic element 12 has a second magnetic pole “PM2” opposite the first magnetic pole “PM1” along a direction of development of the magnetic element and configured to always sit in the furthest position from the plate 5 front 7 with respect to the first magnetic pole “PM1”, both when the latch is in the extracted position, both when the latch is in the retracted position. In other terms, and with reference to figure 2B, the magnetic element and / or ferromagnetic 12 is sized so that a distance “L1” between the first magnetic pole “PM1” and the front plate 7 is less than one 10 distance “L2” between the second magnetic pole “PM2” and said front plate 7. Advantageously, such a sizing of the magnetic element and / or ferromagnetic 12 favors the magnetic interaction between the first pole magnetic “PM1” and the front plate 7, generating a magnetic force of 15 “FMA” anchoring, to the detriment of the magnetic interaction between the second magnetic pole “PM2” and the said front plate 7. In this way, it is it is possible to keep the rotary latch 3 in the retracted position when the himself is not present at the meeting, and / or allows the freeloader to return in the retracted position if accidentally pulled out. 20 In accordance with one aspect of the invention, in the retracted position of the rotary latch 3, the driving magnetic force “FFM” is greater than the magnetic anchoring force “FMA”. In this way, when the latch rotating 3 faces the meeting the magnetic driving force “FFM” overcoming the magnetic anchoring force “FMA” induces the latch 25 rotating 3 to assume the extracted position. Advantageously, the magnetic lock 1 may comprise a strike 14 configured to be mounted on a window frame. Encounter 14 may feature a magnet developing parallel to the front of the lock (figs. 5A, 5B) and / or a magnet inclined with respect to the 30 front of the lock (fig. 6). The aforementioned “G” game allows the rotating latch 3 to rest against a portion of the end of the stroke defined internally by meeting 14 for define the closing condition of the window independently of the conformation of the meeting. With particular reference to figures 5A, 5B, the encounter 14 with magnet 5 parallel is shaped in such a way as to have a centerline “M” so, when the striker 14 is installed on the frame of a window, the extension of this centerline “M” intersects a handle frame “Q” of lock 1. This way, you can make a reversible installation of the 10 window frame, where "reversible installation" means the possibility that the window sash can be opened to the right or to the left (if viewed in front and on the same side). In fact, the aforementioned conformation of the meeting allows to overturn the meeting itself within its receiving seat (milled) in a frame, therefore without the need for 15 replace or rework the frame itself. The present invention therefore provides a lock magnetic adaptable to different types of meetings. With reference to the attached figures, the operation is reported below of a possible embodiment of the present invention. Figure 1B 20 shows an operating condition of the magnetic lock 1 in which the rotary latch 3 is in the retracted position and the control organ 5 is in inactive position. Following the magnetic interaction between the rotary latch 3 and strike 14, the rotary latch 3 is arranged in the extracted position and the control organ 5 remains in the inactive position 25 (fig. 3A). The activation of the switching means 7, for example by rotating the rotary actuator (e.g., a key), determines the switching of the control organ 5 from the inactive position to the active position (fig. 1A), in which the locking element prevents the retraction of the rotary latch 3. In this operating condition, the latch 30 rotating 3 is, generally, engaged inside the meeting 14 (figs. 5A, 5B, 6). Subsequently, the user can proceed to open the closing by reactivating the switching means 7 in such a way to switch the control organ 5 from the active position to the position inactive (fig. 4A). In this case, a first part of the actuator rotation rotating determines the movement of the control organ 5 in the 5 inactive condition; a second part of rotation of the rotary actuator determines the further movement of the control organ 5, so that to activate the push element 8 against the push portion 15, doing, in this way, retract the rotating latch 3 inside the body lock 2 (fig. 4B). Alternatively to the second part of rotation 10 of the rotary actuator, the user can use a handle to activate the actuating means 9 through which the control organ 5 is operated moved along the thrust direction “S” promoting the re-entry of the rotary latch 3 inside the lock body 2 (fig. 3B). After releasing the handle, the magnetic lock 1 returns 15 to cover the operating condition shown in figure 1B. In accordance with a further aspect, the present invention relates to to a method of adjustment for a window lock comprising the steps of arranging a rotary latch of a lock magnetic facing the meeting of the window frame and to move it from one 20 retracted position to at least one extracted position to insert it in the meeting. Furthermore, the method comprises a step of moving the rotary latch until he brought it to a stoppage against a portion of the end of the match adapting the at least one extracted position to a conformation 25 of the meeting. The method comprises a step of locking the rotary latch in the at least a position extracted by defining a locking condition of the rotating latch and to define a game that allows movement of the latch in the locked condition. 30 Furthermore, the method comprises a step of arranging a lock magnetic 1 in accordance with what was previously described and perform at least one of the phases with this lock.
