Description

PRAXI Intellectual Property SpA PF / GZ / 154p2024 Description of the invention entitled: “DEVICE FOR COLLECTING ORGANIC WASTE FROM SMALL DIMENSIONS” in the name of: DEL MARRO ANNA MARIA to: Rome (RM) Inventor: DEL MARRO Anna Maria _________________________________________________________________ Description Field of technology The invention relates to the field of small scale organic waste management. dimensions generated for example by olive stones during buffets or occasions similar. The invention therefore refers to the catering sector and also to a domestic use of the same. Known art The disposal of small organic waste, such as olive stones, dried fruit shells or similar, represents a significant challenge both in the field both domestic and commercial. These wastes, although organic in nature and therefore potentially compostable, they often require specific separate collection, separated from larger organic waste such as food scraps or grass cuttings vegetables. The lack of dedicated solutions for the collection of this particular waste can lead to inefficient waste management, with the risk of contamination of other waste fractions or an increase in the volume of unsorted waste. Currently, the solutions available for the separate collection of organic waste small in size are limited and often inadequate. In the domestic setting, the consumers tend to dispose of this waste together with other fractions, such as municipal waste undifferentiated or plastic, due to the lack of specific containers or clear indications on correct differentiation. This incorrect behavior can compromise the quality of other waste fractions and make it more complex PRAXI Intellectual Property SpA PF / GZ / 154p2024 the recycling process. In commercial contexts such as buffets, receptions or events, waste management small organics becomes even more problematic. The high number of participants and the variety of foods served generate a significant amount of this waste, which is often collected indiscriminately or disposed of along with other fractions. This practice not only reduces the efficiency of collection differentiated, but it can also create hygiene and waste management problems for the organizers of the event. Finally, this type of waste, in plain sight in Generic binders can ruin the visual impact of a decorated table. The solutions currently available for the separate collection of organic waste small in size have several limitations. Generic containers for organic waste, such as biodegradable bins or bags, are not optimised for collection of small scraps and may be inconvenient or impractical to use in immediate consumption contexts. Furthermore, these containers do not provide clear indications on the type of waste to be inserted, leaving room for errors differentiation by users. Another limitation of current solutions is the lack of modularity and adaptability to different needs. The containers available on the market are often designed for general use and do not take into account the specificities of different contexts of use. For example, in a buffet you may need containers of different sizes or with separate compartments to differentiate the various types of organic waste, while in the domestic environment it could be sufficient a single, small container. Furthermore, existing solutions do not always take into account the environmental impact. overall of the container itself. Many waste containers are made with plastic or non-biodegradable materials, which in turn become waste to be disposed of once their function is exhausted. This aspect is particularly critical for the single-use or disposable containers, which contribute to the increase in waste PRAXI Intellectual Property SpA PF / GZ / 154p2024 plastics and environmental pollution. Finally, current solutions often do not provide additional features that could improve the usability and efficiency of separate waste collection. for example, the absence of fill indicators or visual cues can make it difficult for users to understand when the container is full and needs to be emptied or replaced. Similarly, the lack of integrated accessories, such as disposable utensil bins, can limit the practicality and convenience of use in contexts such as buffets or events and eliminate the decorative function of the object same. In fact, a generic container with waste in plain sight, maybe even mixed together, contributes to having a negative visual effect rather than improve it. In summary, the solutions currently available for the separate collection of waste small-scale organizations have several shortcomings and limitations. These generic containers are not optimized for the collection of small waste, they are missing modularity and adaptability to different needs, have a non-environmental impact negligible and do not offer additional features to improve usability and efficiency. Furthermore, the solution proposed in the patent is designed for residential buildings multi-unit and involves the use of compostable bags for waste collection organic. However, in contexts of immediate consumption such as buffets, receptions or events, using bags may not be the most practical or hygienic solution. in these situations, in fact, it is necessary to have specific, modular containers and adaptable to different needs, able to facilitate the separate collection of waste small-sized organic waste in an efficient and visually pleasing way. PRAXI Intellectual Property SpA PF / GZ / 154p2024 Another limitation of the solution described in the patent is the lack of additional features that could improve the usability and efficiency of the separate waste collection. For example, no indicators are mentioned padding or visual cues that can help users understand when the container is full and needs to be emptied or replaced. Likewise, they are not Integrated accessories are foreseen, such as disposable utensil holders, which could increase practicality and ease of use in convivial contexts. Finally, the patent focuses mainly on reducing contamination of organic waste with non-compostable plastic bags, without addressing specifically the overall environmental impact of the containers themselves. from a sustainability perspective, it is also important to consider the choice of materials used for the production of containers, favoring biodegradable solutions or recyclable that can minimize the environmental impact at the end of their life. In conclusion, although the industrial property right US10414583B2 offers a solution for the separate collection of organic waste in multi-unit residential buildings, does not specifically and comprehensively address the issues related to management of small-sized organic waste in contexts of immediate consumption. limitations encountered, such as lack of modularity, absence of functionality additional and the lack of attention to the environmental impact of the containers themselves, highlight the need to develop innovative and targeted solutions for this particular type of waste.
