Seat 22 (on the right in figure 4), similarly to seat 21, is delimited, al- less partially, by a base and a side wall each of which extending and sliding, with respect to the frame of the conveyor 1, in the above mentioned the fourth direction (i.e. in the direction in which seat 22 extends). The base 30 of seat 22 preferably corresponds to the actual tape of a conveyor belt 25 and the side wall of the seat 22 corresponds preferably mind to the actual belt of a conveyor belt 26. According to a variant of the conveyor 1, the base of the seat 21 is connected to the base of the seat 22 so that said bases can be moved by a uni- 5 co motor. To this end, the nozzles 27 are preferably in correspondence with the band of the guide 8, between the two fa- sce 9, placed above in figure 2, and are oriented so as to emit compressed air not only towards the side wall of the seat 21 but also, con- 30 textually, away from guide 8 (i.e., in the said figure, diagonally- mind in a south-east direction). Conveyor (1) for the automatic movement of a plurality of cans (2) each of which is substantially shaped like a cylinder, said conveyor (1) comprising: • a frame; • an inlet section (3) at which the cans (2) of said plurality can be fed into said conveyor (1); • an outlet section (4) opposite to said inlet section (3) and at which the cans (2) of said plurality can be ejected from said conveyor (1) after having crossed the same; • first guiding means (5, 6) extending from said inlet section (3), said first guiding means (5, 6) being suitable for constraining each can (2) of said plurality, when in correspondence with said first guiding means (5, 6), said first guiding means (5, 6) are translated, with respect to said frame, in a first direction,6) being shaped in such a way that each can (2) of said plurality can be placed in correspondence with said first guide means (5, 6), starting from said inlet section (3), in such a way that the longitudinal axis of the cylinder like which said can (2) is substantially shaped is arranged parallel to said first direction so that said first guide means (5, 6) are suitable to constrain each can (2) of said plurality, when in correspondence with said first guide means (5, 6), to translate, with respect to said frame, along the longitudinal axis of the cylinder like which said can (2) is substantially shaped; • first movement means (7) suitable to slide each can (2) of said plurality, with respect to said frame and when in correspondence with said first guide means (5, 6): - in said first direction constrained by said first guide means (5, 6);6) and - away from said input section (3) for the entire extension of said first guiding means (5, 6), until it is released from the latter, said conveyor (1) being characterised by the fact that it also comprises: PATENTS Dr. Ing. DIGIOVANNI SCHMIEDT Srl • second guiding means (8, 9) extending from said first guiding means (5, 6) so that the latter are substantially interposed between said input section (3) and said second guiding means (8, 9), said first movement means (7), after having made a can (2) of said plurality slide, with respect to said frame, for the entire extension of said first guiding means (5, 6) until it is released from the latter, being suitable for placing said can (2) in correspondence with said second guiding means (8, 9), said second guiding means (8, 9) being suitable for constraining each can (2) of said plurality,when in correspondence with said second guide means (8, 9), to translate, with respect to said frame, in a second direction, said second guide means (8, 9) being shaped in such a way that said first movement means (7), after having made a can (2) of said plurality slide, with respect to said frame, for the entire extension of said first guide means (5, 6) until it is released from the latter, being suitable to place said can (2) in correspondence with said second guide means (8, 9) in such a way that, after said can (2) has been released from said first guide means (5, 6), the longitudinal axis of the cylinder as to which said can (2) is substantially shaped is arranged parallel to said second direction so that said second guide means (8, 9) are suitable to constrain each can (2) of said plurality, when in correspondence with said second guide means (8, 9), to to translate,with respect to said frame, along the longitudinal axis of the cylinder like which said can (2) is substantially shaped; • second movement means (10) suitable for sliding each can of said plurality, with respect to said frame and when in correspondence with said second guide means (8, 9): - in said second direction constrained by said second guide means (8, 9) and - away from said first guide means (5, 6) for the entire extension of said second guide means (8, 9), until it is released from the latter; • third movement means (11) suitable for moving said second guide means (8, 9), with respect to said frame, between at least: - a first position in correspondence with said second guide means (8, 9) are arranged in such a way that said second direction has a first orientation; - a second position at which said second guide means (8,9) are arranged in such a way that said second direction has a second orientation different from said first orientation, 10 so that every time a can (2) of said plurality is placed by said first movement means (7) in correspondence with said second guiding means (8, 9), said can (2) is constrained by said second guiding means (8, 9) to translate, with respect to said frame and by said second movement means (10), at least: 15 - in said second direction with said first orientation or - in said second direction with said second orientation; • a first seat (21) extending from said second guide means (8, 9) to said outlet section (4) in a third direction not orthogonal to said second direction when said second guide means (8, 9) are in said first position, said first seat (21) being traversable by each can (2) of said plurality, said first seat (21) being delimited,at least partially, by a base 25 and a side wall each of which extends and slides, with respect to said frame, in said third direction, said base being inclined towards said side wall in such a way that, in correspondence with each cross-section of said first seat (21), the angle between said base and said side wall is acute, 30 said second movement means (10), after having made a can (2) of said plurality slide along the entire extension of said second guide means (8, 9) until it is released from the latter, when said second guide means (8, 9) are in said first position, being suitable for placing said can (2) in correspondence with said first seat (21) in such a way that, after said can (2) has been released from said second guide means (8, 9),said can (2) rests on said base in correspondence with the lateral surface of the cylinder as which it is substantially shaped so that, since said base is inclined towards said lateral wall and said third direction is not orthogonal to said second direction, said can (2) tends to roll, in correspondence with the lateral surface of the cylinder as which it is substantially shaped, on said base until it rests, again in correspondence with the lateral surface of the cylinder as which it is substantially shaped, on said lateral wall; • fourth movement means suitable for sliding said base, with respect to said frame, in said third direction from said second guide means (8, 9) to said output section (4), said fourth movement means being also suitable for sliding said base, with respect to said frame,in said third direction at a speed equal to or greater than that at which said second driving means (10) are suitable for sliding each can (2) of said plurality, when in correspondence with said second guiding means (8, 9), in said second direction; • fifth driving means suitable for sliding said side wall, relative to said frame, in said third direction from said second guiding means (8, 9) to said outlet section (4), said fifth driving means being further suitable for sliding said side wall, relative to said frame, in said third direction at a speed greater than that at which said fourth driving means are suitable for sliding said base in said third direction so that, whenever said base and said side wall slide, relative to said frame,in said third direction respectively by said fourth and fifth movement means and a can (2) of said plurality is placed by said second movement means (10) in correspondence with said first seat (21) in such a way that, after said can has been released from said second guide means (8, 9), said can (2) rests on said base in correspondence with the lateral surface of the cylinder as which it is substantially shaped: - said can (2), after having rolled, in correspondence with the lateral surface of the cylinder as which it is substantially shaped, on said base until it rests, again in correspondence with the lateral surface of the cylinder as which it is substantially shaped, on said lateral wall,is arranged in such a way that the longitudinal axis of the cylinder as which said can (2) is substantially shaped is parallel to said third direction and - said fourth and fifth movement means are suitable for making said can (2) slide, with respect to said frame, along the longitudinal axis of the cylinder as which it is substantially shaped until it exits from said first seat (21) and consequently from said conveyor (1) in correspondence with said exit section (4); • a second seat (22) extending from said second guide means (8, 9) to said exit section (4) in a fourth direction not orthogonal to said second direction when said second guide means (8, 9) are in said second position, said second seat (22) being traversable by each can (2) of said plurality, said second seat (22) being delimited, at least partially, by a base and a lateral wall each of which extends and slides,with respect to said frame, in said fourth direction, said base of said second seat (22) being inclined towards said side wall of said second seat (22) in such a way that, at each cross-section of said second seat (22), the angle between said base and said side wall of said second seat (22) is acute, said second movement means (10), after having made a can (2) of said plurality slide along the entire extension of said second means of BREVETTI Dott. DIGIOVANNI SCHMIEDT Srl guide (8, 9) until it is released from the latter, when said second guiding means (8, 9) are in said second position, being suitable for placing said can (2) in correspondence with said second seat (22) in such a way that, after said can (2) has been released from said second guiding means (8, 9),said can (2) rests on said base of said second seat (22) in correspondence with the lateral surface of the cylinder as which it is substantially shaped so that, since said base of said second seat (22) is inclined towards said lateral wall of said second seat (22) and said fourth direction is not orthogonal to said second direction, said can (2) tends to roll, in correspondence with the lateral surface of the cylinder as which it is substantially shaped, on said base of said second seat (22) until it rests, again in correspondence with the lateral surface of the cylinder as which it is substantially shaped, on said lateral wall of said second seat (22); • sixth movement means suitable for sliding said base of said second seat (22), with respect to said frame, in said fourth direction from said second guide means (8, 9) to said exit section (4),said sixth means of movement being furthermore suitable for sliding said base of said second seat (22), relative to said frame, in said fourth direction at a speed equal to or greater than that at which said second means of movement (10) are suitable for sliding each can (2) of said plurality, relative to said frame and when in correspondence with said second guide means (8, 9), in said second direction; • seventh means of movement being furthermore suitable for sliding said side wall of said second seat (22), relative to said frame, in said fourth direction from said second guide means (8, 9) to said outlet section (4), said seventh means of movement being furthermore suitable for sliding said side wall of said second seat (22), relative to said frame, in said fourth direction at a speed greater than that at which said sixth means of movement are suitable for sliding said base of said second seat (22),with respect to said frame, in said fourth direction so that, whenever said base and said lateral wall of said second seat (22) slide, with respect to said frame, in said fourth direction respectively by said sixth and seventh movement means and a can (2) of said plurality is placed by said second movement means (10) in correspondence with said second seat (22) in such a way that, after said can has been released from said second guide means (8, 9), said can rests on said base of said second seat (22) in correspondence with the lateral surface of the cylinder as which it is substantially shaped: - said can (2), 10 after having rolled, in correspondence with the lateral surface of the cylinder as which it is substantially shaped, on said base of said second seat (22) until it rests,again in correspondence with the lateral surface of the cylinder as which it is substantially shaped, at said lateral wall of said second seat (22), 15 is arranged in such a way that the longitudinal axis of the cylinder as which said can (22) is substantially shaped is parallel to said fourth direction and - said sixth and seventh means of movement are suitable for making said can (2) translate, with respect to said frame, along the longitudinal axis of the cylinder as which it is substantially shaped until it exits from said second seat (22) and consequently from said conveyor (1) in correspondence with said exit section (4)., 2. Conveyor (1) according to claim 1, characterised by the fact 25 of comprising first blowing means (27) suitable for emitting air when said second guiding means (8, 9) are in said first position, said first blowing means (27) being oriented in such a way that, when: • said second guiding means (8, 9) are in said first position, • said first blowing means (27) emit air 30 and • one can (2) of said plurality is released from said second guiding means (8, 9) by said second handling means (10), BREVETTI Dott. DIGIOVANNI SCHMIEDT Srlthe air emitted by said first blowing means (27) impacts against said can (2) pushing the latter towards said side wall of said first seat (21), said conveyor (1) further comprising second blowing means (28) suitable for emitting air when said second guiding means (8, 9) are in said second position, said second blowing means (28) being oriented in such a way that, when: • said second guiding means (8, 9) are in said second position, • said second blowing means (28) emit air 10 and • one can (2) of said plurality is released from said second guiding means (8, 9) by said second movement means (10), the air emitted by said second blowing means (28) impacts against said can (2) pushing the latter towards said side wall of said second seat 15 (22).

Conveyor (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that said second guide means (8, 9) extend from a first end (12) to a second end (13) opposite said first end (12), 20 said second guide means (8, 9) being turned towards said first guide means (5, 6) at said first end (12), regardless of the position of said second guide means (8, 9) with respect to said first guide means (5, 6), said second guide means (8, 9) being rotatable, with respect to said frame, between 25 said first and second positions in such a way that: • when said second guide means (8, 9) are in said first position, said second guide means (8, 9) are turned towards said first seat (21) at said second end (13) and when said second guide means (8, 9) are in said second position, said second means of guidance (8,9) are directed towards said second seat (22) in correspondence with said second end (13), BREVETTI Dott. DIGIOVANNI SCHMIEDT Srl said second direction when said second guiding means (8, 9) are in said first position and said second direction when said second guiding means (8, 9) are in said second position being coplanar, said first movement means (7), after having made a can (2) of said plurality slide, with respect to said frame, for the entire extension of said first guiding means (5, 6) until it is released from the latter, being suitable for placing said can (2) in correspondence with said second guiding means (8, 9) in correspondence with said first end (12), said second movement means (10), after having made a can (2) of said plurality slide, with respect to said frame, for the entire extension of said second guiding means (8, 9),being suitable to release said jar (2) from the latter, to place it in correspondence with said first or second seat (21,22), in correspondence with said second end (13)., 4. Conveyor (1) according to claim 3, characterised in that said third means of movement (11) comprise: • a first element (14) extending in a fifth direction from a first end (15) to a second end (16) opposite to said first end (15) of said first element (14), said first element (14) being connected to said second guiding means (8, 9) and, at its first end (15), being constrained to said frame, said first element (14) being constrained to rotate, with respect to said frame: - around a first axis arranged orthogonally both to said fifth direction and to the plane in which lie: > said second direction when said second guiding means (8, 9) are in said first position and > said second direction when said second guiding means (8, 9) are in said second position, and - between at least: > a first position such that,when said first element (14) is in said first position, said second guiding means (8, 9) are in said first position; > a second position such that, when said first element (14) is in said second position, said second guiding means (8, 9) are in said second position; • a second element (17) constrained to said first element (14) at the second end (16) of the latter, said second element (17) being constrained to translate, with respect to said first element (14), in said fifth direction; • a third element (18) constrained to said second element (17), said third element (18) being constrained to rotate, with respect to said second element (17), around a second axis parallel to said first axis, said third element (18) being further constrained to said frame, said third element (18) being constrained to translate, with respect to said frame,in a sixth direction not parallel to said fifth direction regardless of the position of said first element (14); • eighth means of movement (19, 20) suitable for moving said third element (18), with respect to said frame, in said sixth direction, said eighth means of movement (19, 20) being further suitable for moving said third element, with respect to said frame, in said sixth direction between at least: - a first position such that, when said third element (18) is in said first position, said first element (14) is in said first position; - a second position such that, when said third element (18) is in said second position, said first element (14) is in said second position., 5. Conveyor (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that said third and fourth directions are parallel to each other, said first and second seats (21, 22) being placed side by side in such a way that: PATENTS Dr. Eng. DIGIOVANNI SCHMIEDT Srl • said bases of said first and second seats (21,22) respectively are mutually opposed in correspondence with a respective edge and • said lateral walls of said first and second seats (21, 22) respectively are opposed to each other with said bases of said first and second seats (21, 22) respectively interposed between them, said base of said first seat (21) being connected to said base of said second seat (22), said fourth means of movement coinciding with said sixth means of movement.

Conveyor (1) according to claim 5, characterised in that said second movement means (10) comprise: • a base extending and sliding, with respect to said frame, in a direction parallel to said third, and consequently also fourth, direction, said second guide means (8, 9) being shaped in such a way that said first movement means (7), after having made a can (2) of said plurality slide along the entire extension of said first guide means (5, 6) until it is released from the latter, being suitable for placing said can (2) in correspondence with said second guide means (8, 9) in such a way that, after said can (2) has been released from said first guide means (5, 6), said can (2) is in contact with said base of said second movement means (10) in correspondence with the lateral surface of the cylinder like which it is substantially shaped,said second guide means (8, 9) being furthermore shaped in such a way that, whenever a can (2) of said plurality is placed in correspondence with said second guide means (8, 9) in such a way that said can (2) is in contact with said base of said second movement means (10) in correspondence with the lateral surface of the cylinder as which it is BREVETTI Dott. DIGIOVANNI SCHMIEDT Srl substantially shaped, upon a sliding of said base of said second movement means (10) with respect to said frame, said can (2): - remains in contact with said base of said second movement means (10) in correspondence with the lateral surface of the cylinder as which it is substantially shaped and - is made to slide from said base of said second movement means (10), with respect to said frame, in said second direction constrained by said second guide means (8, 9)9) and consequently possibly deviated by said second guide means (8, 9) in said second direction, with respect to said direction parallel to said third, and consequently also fourth, direction; • ninth movement means suitable for sliding said base of said second movement means (10), with respect to said frame, in said direction parallel to said third, and consequently also fourth, direction from said first guide means (5, 6) to said first and second seats (21, 22), said fourth, and consequently also sixth, movement means being suitable for sliding said base of said first, and consequently also of said second, seat (21, 22), with respect to said frame, in said third, and consequently also fourth, direction at a speed equal to or greater than that at which said ninth movement means are suitable for sliding said base of said second movement means (10), with respect to said frame,in the said direction parallel to the said third, and consequently also fourth, direction.

7. Conveyor (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that said first movement means (7) are suitable for sliding each can (2) of said plurality, with respect to said frame, in said first direction at a speed higher than that at which said second movement means (10) are suitable for sliding each can (2) of said plurality, with respect to said frame, in said second direction.
