Abstract

Taut wires (10) are strung in parallel and mounted between anchoring (12) and sensor (14) posts. The sensor post typically comprises a conventional fence post (20) fixed, e.g. by an attachment member (22), to an elongate support track (24) extending along the entire length of the sensor post. Pref., sensor clamps (26) are used to secure the sensors (32). An operating plate (36) is mounted on each sensor. The main section (38) of the plate is formed with an aperture (40) for accommodating the upper tip of the sensor and has bent-up front and back edges (42,44). Fixed onto the back edge (44) is a support bracket (46) which, in turn, supports enclosure side panels (48,50) to which it is attached by rivets (51). (Provisional Basic advised Week K05)
