Flame retardant sheet

Abstract

This article is a sheet that is used by being sandwiched between battery cells that are arranged in parallel inside a battery, and is a fire spread prevention sheet that prevents heat from an overheated battery cell from conducting to an adjacent battery and causing a fire to spread. This article has a form in which ten rubber cylinders are arranged and fixed side by side on one side of a rectangular rubber sheet in a plan view. The rubber sheet and the cylinders are rubber molded bodies in which a carbon filler is dispersed as a flame retardant in the rubber. When in use, this article compresses and deforms the cylinders in a state where the length direction of the cylinders is oriented in the height direction of the battery cells and sandwiches them between the battery cells.
