Restaurant information terminal

Abstract

The design article is a restaurant information terminal used by customers to order products and pay for items at a restaurant. A touch-screen display unit on which an image is displayed is located in the center of the front view. The article can be associated with another terminal (e.g., a customer's smartphone, hereinafter simply referred to as "another terminal"). By associating the article with the other terminal, customers can place orders through the other terminal in the same way as they would through the article. The image displayed on the display unit is used to check the order status, including the order details from the article and the order details from the other terminal. As shown in the reference image, the image includes an order display area in which one or more product boxes representing ordered products are displayed. In the image, as shown in the front view and the reference image, a terminal icon is displayed on the product box to indicate that the order was made through the other terminal associated with the article. The display of a terminal icon within the product box representing the ordered product makes it possible to identify which terminal the product was ordered from.
