Abstract
The image of the present design is used in the production of television broadcast programs and video content for internet distribution, for example, to cut out multiple images from high-resolution video (input video), such as 4K or 8K. Users create broadcast programs and video content by arbitrarily switching between these cutout images (output video). Specifically, in the reference image diagram, people in the input video displayed in the area indicated by lead line 1 are automatically recognized (a rectangular symbol indicated by lead line 2 indicates that the person has been automatically recognized), and portraits of the recognized people are displayed as thumbnails in the area indicated by lead line 3a (the portraits in the thumbnails are generated by cutting out the input video in real time and are displayed as moving images; the same applies below). Arbitrary combinations of the recognized people are similarly displayed as thumbnails in the area indicated by lead line 3b. These thumbnails displayed in the area indicated by lead line 3 are candidates for the output video. The user selects the image to be cut out from the input image and output by appropriately selecting and deciding from these candidates. The area indicated by callout 4 displays the output image selected by such an operation, and in the image diagrams (and each reference diagram) of this application, three systems of image are cut out as output images. The area indicated by callout 5 is an area in which one system that has been particularly selected from the multiple output images is displayed in an enlarged form. The angle of view of the image that has been cut out and output is automatically adjusted using AI technology, etc. In the display area of the input image (callout 1), rectangular frames numbered 1 to 3 respectively represent the automatically adjusted angles of view for the three output images currently selected by the user.
