Abstract

This product is a finished base collar before the half collar of Japanese undergarments is sewn on, and the part above the collar line is visible from the base of the kimono when the kimono is worn. It is used by sewing the Japanese undergarments as the base collar part. The base collar is a type of collar called a stick collar type, in which the width of the entire base collar is uniform and is the width of the collar at the center of the back, and is often used for men's Japanese undergarments. This product is also open on both sides in the longitudinal direction, and is sewn on as the base collar of the Japanese undergarments with the fabric of the Japanese undergarments sandwiched between the two sides, and the fabric separated on the left and right becomes the front and back parts of the base collar of the Japanese undergarments. The strings sewn on the front and back of the base collar at the same position from the center of the back are sewn on the back side of the base collar line on the upper front bodice of the Japanese undergarments, and on the front side of the base collar line on the lower front bodice. Its position is at the intersection of the upper and lower front of the base collar of the Japanese undergarment, and when the upper front collar is placed over the lower front collar to wear the Japanese undergarment, the two strings are tied together to keep the collar from opening. The half collar is sewn onto the base collar from above after this item is sewn to the Japanese undergarment, but since the string for aligning the collar comes out from the sewing line of the base collar, there is no problem in putting on and taking off the half collar, which is sewn to the fabric part of the base collar. The collar of the Japanese undergarment is fixed in place when worn, and the base of the Japanese undergarment does not move away from the base of the kimono and become invisible even during everyday movements. Used as a base collar for a stick collar, it firmly supports the collar of a men's kimono from below, and also keeps the base of the Japanese undergarment's collar visible from underneath in a beautiful, balanced state. To provide a base collar for stick collar of Japanese undergarments which can be used as a base collar for preventing the collar from falling out of alignment by sewing to the Japanese undergarments.
