Abstract
This stripping tool can strip the coating of insulated wires of different diameters. As shown in the reference perspective view showing the names of each part, this tool includes a coated wire holder with a coated wire holding portion that can hold the coated wire, a blade that cuts the coating of the coated wire held in the coated wire holder, a blade holder and blade guide that hold the blade, and a pressing portion that moves the blade holder toward and away from the coated wire. As shown in the reference view showing the usage state, the coated wire can be stripped by gripping the coated wire between the coated wire holder and the blade and using the ring portion on the pressing portion to rotate the tool around the gripped coated wire. To adjust the coated wire holder to a desired wire diameter, first move the locking knob on one of the side walls on the left and right of the coated wire holder away from the side wall to release the locking state. Next, adjust the adjustment dial to the desired wire diameter. This causes the coated wire holder to rotate in accordance with the adjustment dial. Finally, move the locking knob toward the side wall to lock it in place. By operating in this way, the covered wire holding portion can be adjusted to suit the wire diameter of the covered wire holder.
