Test fish holding device

Abstract

The article relating to the present design is a test fish holder made of a flexible material such as sponge, primarily for holding small test fish such as zebrafish used in tests and experiments. As shown in "Reference Figure 1 showing the state of use," a test fish can be held in the holding groove, and a test substance can be administered to the test fish held in the holding groove using a syringe. Furthermore, as shown in "Reference Figure 2 showing the state of use" and "Reference Figure 3 showing the state of use," a discharge chute insertion part is provided at the top of the test fish holding groove, into which the discharge chute of a test fish guide device is inserted while being spread open. In this fish guiding device, the fish are introduced into the funnel section along with water, and the introduced fish pass through a downward-sloping guide pipe along with the water. The fish that have passed through the inclined guide pipe then pass through a discharge chute that extends downward along with the water, and the fish that have passed through the discharge chute are discharged along with the water from the lower end opening of the discharge chute into a holding groove of the fish holder, where the discharged fish are held, for example, in the holding groove.
