Head protection helmet for handling chemicals

Abstract

This product is a helmet designed to protect the head from unintended impacts during chemical handling work in locations that are not oxygen-deficient, such as outdoors. More specifically, it is designed to be worn over an acid-resistant hood that covers the entire face in work where there is a possibility of being exposed to concentrated sulfuric acid or other chemicals. As shown in "Reference Figures 1," "2," and "3" illustrating the state of use, it is attached to the piping section of the acid-resistant hood that prevents fogging of the transparent shield by airflow from a powered air-purifying respirator. The part of this product for which design registration is sought is mainly the part of the helmet excluding the inside.
