Abstract
This item is a pair (two blades) of auxiliary blades installed on a two-blade wind turbine. As shown in the reference perspective view and front view illustrating the usage state, this item is installed between the blades of the two-blade wind turbine so that a portion of the rotation planes of the blades and the auxiliary blades overlap. In the case of the wind turbine shown in the reference perspective view, a large amount of unused wind power remains near the center of the blade rotation area. Considering the interference with the wind that the blades effectively utilize, the appropriate rotation radius of the auxiliary blade is approximately half or less of the rotation radius of the blade, as shown in the front view, and in order to effectively output under this constraint, it becomes wider towards the tip. The surface of the auxiliary blade facing the wind is almost flat, except for the curved structure at the leading edge of the auxiliary blade in the direction of rotation, which actively guides the wind towards the surface, as shown in the reference perspective view illustrating the names of the parts. The rectifier plates on the surface of the auxiliary blades are designed to guide the wind across the entire surface of the auxiliary blades in the direction optimal for output. When viewed from the windward side of the wind turbine's rotation axis, they are arranged roughly concentrically, as shown in the front view. The height of the rectifier plates from the surface of the auxiliary blades depends on the size of the wind turbine, but is generally about 0.2m at the minimum and about 1.0m at the maximum, and the distance between adjacent rectifier plates is not less than the height of the rectifier plate.
