Obi ornament with fasteners

Abstract

This item is a decorative obi ornament that can be attached to a kimono simply by inserting the fastener sewn onto it into the upper end of the obi that is wrapped around the waist. Existing items are generally attached by wrapping them around the waist like an obi, and despite being bulky, they are small, compact, and inconspicuous when worn. Similar products have been sold using lace fabric, the most popular fabric for decoration, but thin fabrics like lace lack stiffness and durability, making it impossible to create a self-standing product from a single thin piece of fabric without attachments such as strings or elastic. However, this item can be attached easily and quickly, and because it is made from a single thin, ornate piece of fabric, it can fully demonstrate its decorative appeal. Furthermore, it is gorgeous because it takes advantage of the fact that it is made from a single piece of fabric without any extra parts such as strings or elastic. Its form is a band-shaped piece of fabric that is attached along the obi on the front side of the body, and reinforcing fabric is sewn along both ends in the direction of the band, and the fastener for attaching to the obi is fixed to the reinforcing fabric. The fastener has a base that is fixed with a protruding part facing one of its longitudinal directions. Both ends in the left and right longitudinal directions have the same shape, and one fastener is fixed to each, so a total of two fasteners are fixed.
