Horseshoes

Abstract

This item is a horseshoe. Referring to the [Reference diagram showing the highlights of each part], the upper surface of the iron bar, which is formed in a roughly U-shape when viewed from above, becomes the contact surface when the horseshoe is attached to a horse's hoof. On the upper surface near the iron head, there is an iron lip that protrudes upward and whose back surface abuts against the hoof to support the horseshoe and prevent it from slipping. The front surface of the iron lip is formed in a roughly flat surface that is slightly inclined, and the back surface of the iron lip, i.e., the inner surface that contacts the hoof, is formed to be curved in a roughly curved surface, specifically, in a roughly conical surface.
