Abstract

This product is an alcohol wick that is permeated with alcohol and used as a substitute for solid fuel for cooking. A non-flammable wick such as carbon fiber is stored inside a cylindrical metal case. As shown in the "Reference diagram showing how to use", this product is placed in the center of a pocket stove, etc., and alcohol is poured into the top of the product, causing the alcohol to permeate the wick in a short time and filling the inside of the product with alcohol. The alcohol from the wick and the alcohol inside the product are then sucked up, and the alcohol is burned on the flat surface of the product to heat cooking utensils such as rice cookers and pots. This product has a tapered section from the top of the cylindrical metal case to the mesh-like opening. This taper serves as a guide when pouring alcohol, and also allows alcohol to be poured while collecting in the area surrounded by the taper. It also serves as an enclosure when burning alcohol. The height of this product is such that it can be stored inside a pocket stove when it is closed, making it easy to carry.
