Abstract

As shown in "Reference Figure 1 Showing a State in Use" and "Reference Figure 2 Showing a State in Use", this item is a bolt for a clamping device used in a clamping device which has a main body member and a cover member that are rotatably arranged via a first pivot axis, a pipe member that is sandwiched between the main body member and the cover member, and a nut member that is spanned between the main body member and the cover member and tightened to secure the pipe member. The article has a rotating part rotatably supported on a second rotating shaft at the tip end side of the main body member, a shaft part connected to the rotating part and having a peripheral surface without a male screw part, and a male screw part provided continuously in the axial direction of the shaft part, and a stopper formed larger than the outer diameter of the male screw part is provided between the shaft part and the male screw part, and this stopper is configured to stop the movement of the shaft part in the tightening direction when the nut member is screwed onto the male screw part and moved in the tightening direction, so that an incomplete thread in which only the valley part of the thread is formed is not formed on the shaft part, and it is possible to improve reliability and safety without reducing the pull-out strength of the nut member. The article is also used for an orthogonal clamp in which two clamping devices are arranged so that the axes of the pipe members are perpendicular to each other and the main body members are overlapped and joined together, as shown in "Reference Figure 3 showing a state of use". The article is also used for a wall connector for fixing a pipe member to the wall of a building, as shown in "Reference Figure 4 showing a state of use".
