Fixing device for saddle-type branch valve

Abstract

This article is a device for fixing a saddle-equipped water distributor having a semi-cylindrical saddle to a plastic pipe. The ends of the band and clamp of this article are provided with claws, and the article is passed under the plastic pipe, and the claws are hooked onto a pair of flanges extending from both sides of the saddle, and the link is rotated so that the band and clamp come close to each other, thereby clamping and fixing the plastic pipe. Step-shaped protrusions are provided along the rotation axis direction on the outer circumferential surfaces of the ends of the band and clamp on the link side, and the protrusions engage with each other when the link is rotated to maintain the clamped state. Ribs are provided on the inner surfaces of the tip sides of the band and clamp, and the ribs are inserted into slits formed in the flange to restrict the movement of the plastic pipe of this article in the pipe axis direction. The saddle portion of the saddle-type branch tap is, for example, an electrofusion type saddle, and with the saddle portion in this product in close contact with the plastic pipe, electricity is passed through an electric heating wire wired inside the saddle portion, thereby electrically fusion joining the saddle portion and the plastic pipe.
