Abstract

The article according to the present design (hereinafter referred to as the "article") is a pen stand that can store pens and the like in an upright position. The article has a bottom plate that is substantially rectangular in plan view, front and rear walls that stand up from the short front and rear sides of the bottom plate and have different heights, and left and right side walls that stand up from the long left and right sides of the bottom plate and have upper ends that extend substantially horizontally from the upper end of the high rear wall to connect the front and rear walls and then slope diagonally downward toward the upper end of the low front wall, and is open upward. The article has partition walls that divide the internal space partitioned by the bottom plate, the front and rear walls, and the left and right side walls into two spaces at substantially equal intervals in the longitudinal direction. The partition walls of the article are held by a pair of left and right protrusions that protrude downward from the left and right positions of the lower end being inserted into left and right insertion holes of the bottom plate, and protrusions that protrude outward from the left and right positions of the upper end being inserted into the insertion holes of the left and right side walls via a substantially U-shaped holder. The partition walls of this product are set at a height such that the upper ends do not protrude beyond the left and right side walls at approximately the midpoint in the front-rear direction between the left and right side walls, allowing pens and the like to be stored in a compartmented state according to purpose, length, etc. Both left and right side walls of this product have recesses that are slightly recessed inward leaving the edges around the entire perimeter, and these recesses are slightly inclined so that they are positioned slightly inward as they approach the lower ends. In addition, the four corners of the bottom plate of this product are provided with approximately rectangular frame-shaped feet that raise the bottom plate slightly above the installation surface.
