Abstract
This article is a metal fixture for connecting long materials such as angle bars, flat bars, and reinforcing bars at right angles to an angle bar serving as a base material. It is made up of a base plate with a U-shaped end face that abuts against the outer surface of one flange of the angle bar and one end formed into a hook shape that is hooked onto the edge of the flange, a hook plate that is hooked onto the edge of the other flange, a connecting bolt that connects the two through a through hole provided in both, and a connecting nut that is screwed onto the shaft of the connecting bolt. When the connecting nut is tightened, the angle bar fixing part clamps and fixes the two from the outside of both flanges, and an attachment part that protrudes outward from the base plate. The angle bar fixing part is fixed at an appropriate height position of one of the parallel angle bars, as shown in Reference Figures 1, 2, and 3, which show the usage state. First, with the connecting nut in a relaxed state, the angle bar fixing part is fitted from the outer surface side of the angle bar, and the base plate and the hook plate are respectively hooked on the end edges of both flanges, and the connecting nut is tightened to fix them. Next, the angle bar to be connected is temporarily placed on the top surface of the base plate, and at this time, the downward flange of the angle bar is abutted against the support pieces protruding up and down provided on the base plate, which prevents the angle bar from falling over and the downward flange from dropping into the gap between the angle bar fixing part and the hook plate. After adjusting the horizontal position of the temporarily placed angle iron, the mounting nut is tightened, which moves the pressing plate toward the angle iron and allows the pressing piece to press and fix the downward flange. The other angle iron is attached in the same way, but since the pressing pieces of the pressing plate are arranged above and below the base plate, it can be fixed regardless of the orientation of the parallel angle iron. For example, rebar for reinforcing bar work, or pipes for plumbing work, can be placed at an appropriate height on the top surface of the horizontally connected angle iron.
