Abstract

This item is used by fixing it to the end of a casing pipe in civil engineering work such as foundation piling. The four bits protruding from the tip surface of the head of the bit body are made of cemented carbide. The thickened area on the vertical and inclined surfaces surrounding the bits is the reinforcing layer. The reinforcing layer is made by overlaying through welding, and when overlaying, fine particles made of cemented carbide are poured in and adhered to form an integrated structure. As can be seen in the photograph shown as a reference perspective view, the reinforcing layer has fine irregularities where the shapes of some of the cemented carbide particles are raised.
