Tent weights

Abstract

The present article is a weight that is attached to the legs of a tent (e.g., a tarp tent) to secure the tent in places where pegs (posts for securing the tent) cannot be used (e.g., on asphalt or a sandy beach). As shown in Reference FIG. 1, which illustrates the state of use, the weight is a "slim type" that can be used by attaching two of the weights to the legs of the tent so as to sandwich them, and does not get in the way. Of course, as shown in Reference FIG. 2, which illustrates the state of use, the weight can also be attached to the legs of the tent by itself using a hook-and-loop fastener or the like. In the former case, the weight can be secured with twice the load compared to the latter case, so the former or the latter can be appropriately selected depending on the installation location and installation conditions of the tent. In addition, as shown in Reference FIG. 3, which illustrates the state of use, the tent can be secured more securely by passing a rope through the handle.
