Abstract

This item is a knitting needle for hand knitting, in which a pair of needle bodies are connected to both ends of a flexible wire. As shown in the "AA enlarged cross-sectional view between BB and CC," each end of the wire is connected to the base end of the needle body by screwing the male screw inside the first connecting member and the female screw inside the second connecting member. The joint between the needle body and the first connecting member is compressed and crimped all around to form a smooth surface with few steps. In addition, the joint cross section between the first connecting member and the second connecting member is composed of two steps, a short horizontal section, a curved section, and a gently sloping tapered section, and further, the gently sloping tapered section of the wire is connected to the second connecting member with few steps, so that this item has a design that realizes hand knitting with very little catching of the knitting yarn.
