Tape measure

Abstract

The article according to the present design is a tape measure in which a long tape indicating a standard of length is wound and arranged inside a case. The tape measure has a large opening formed in the case, and the tip of the tape is exposed from the opening. The user of the tape measure can measure the length of an object by grasping the tip of the tape, pulling it out of the case by the length required to measure the length, and comparing the standard of the pulled-out length with the object to be measured. When the force pulling the tape is released, the tape measure automatically winds the tape inside the case. It is also assumed that the tape measure is arranged and used inside a separately prepared cosmetic cover in which a room is formed according to the outer shape of the tape measure, and may be provided with a rotation prevention protrusion protruding from the outer periphery of the case to prevent the tape from rotating inside the cosmetic cover.
