Interior design of residential storage room

Abstract

This interior design realizes an aesthetically pleasing interior as a storage room while utilizing a narrow space by fastening thin side panels (thin side panels) to the walls in the space between the walls of a house, providing a storage shelf section (see reference explanatory diagrams showing the use state, etc.). The storage shelf section of the storage room is constructed by fastening thin side panels with dowel holes (57 dowel holes with actual diameter of 5 mm arranged in two vertical rows, each vertical row) to each wall, as shown in the A-A' line cross section and the B-B' line cross section, and installing shelves so that their sides contact the thin side panels via shelf brackets. The height of the shelves, the spacing between the shelves, the number of shelves, etc. can be adjusted or moved (to make a movable shelf) by attaching and removing the dowels of the shelf brackets to the dowel holes. The dowels of the shelf brackets are sized to fit into the dowel holes. In spaces where there is a baseboard between the floor and the wall, a thin side board can be placed on top of the baseboard to take advantage of the beauty of the space given by the baseboard that continues from areas other than the storage room, and the side board can be fixed directly to the wall, making it possible to effectively utilize a narrow space while maintaining strength. Furthermore, the thin side board does not protrude due to the thickness of the baseboard, resulting in a beautiful finish. When utilizing a space through renovation, it can be turned into a storage room regardless of whether or not there is an existing baseboard.
