Abstract
This article is a plate for holding a plate cut into the shape of a character or the like, which can be easily attached and detached, and has a shape that can hold the plate in a stable upright position without falling off or tipping over. The material is, for example, a plate-shaped acrylic or resin. Specifically, the plate is characterized by having a protruding portion with a bifurcated tip at the bottom or top, a groove extending in the opposite direction from the center of the bifurcated protruding portion, and a cut line extending vertically from the outside of each bifurcated portion. When holding a plate product in an upright position, it is common to give a protrusion to the bottom or the like and insert the protrusion into a base with a hole of the same size as the outer periphery of the protrusion to hold the product in an upright position. However, when adding protrusions or holes to a plate material, it is often the case that some plate products tend to come off or tip over due to general tolerances or the performance of the processing machine. When inserting the article into the hole of the base, one of the forked protrusions of the article is inserted diagonally into the hole of the base, and then pressure is applied to the other protrusion in the direction of the base, so that the forked protrusions can be deformed to fit into the base and inserted. When the pressure on the article is released after insertion, the outer side of the forked protrusions of the article is pressurized from the inside to the outside of the hole of the base due to the inherent shape memory of the material, so that the article can be stably held upright and not easily pulled out or toppled over. In addition, the same effect can always be obtained by adjusting the pressure applied to the article when inserted to meet various general tolerances and processing machine performance. Furthermore, it is possible to accommodate various materials by adjusting the length of the groove in the middle of the forked protrusions. The reference diagram showing an example of use is one example of the use of the article, and shows various ways of using it.
