Abstract

This product is a packaging container for packaging fruits and vegetables. For example, this product contains a plurality of strawberries, and the top side of the container is covered with a sheet-like covering member such as a transparent film or a vinyl sheet to form a strawberry pack in which the plurality of strawberries are packaged. This product is a packaging container that is substantially rectangular in plan view and has an open top side, and has four side portions inclined in a direction that makes the side wall portion slightly narrower downward, and a bottom portion, as shown in the "Reference Front View Showing the State of Use" and the "Reference AA Line Cross-Sectional End View Showing the Names of Each Part". Each side portion has a plurality of protrusions formed along the up-down direction in the front view, right side view, etc. In each side portion, the plurality of protrusions are arranged at predetermined intervals in the horizontal direction. The protrusions are formed as parts that protrude toward the inside of the container from the upper part of the side portion at the lower part of the side portion. The protrusions form a step portion that forms a step surface with a gentler slope than the overall slope of the side portion due to their protruding shape toward the inside of the container. For example, as shown in the "Reference Front View Showing the State of Use," when multiple strawberries are arranged and stored in multiple vertical tiers (two tiers in the illustrated example) in a conventional packaging container, the strawberries in the upper tier get into the gaps between the strawberries in the lower tier, causing an unstable storage state of the strawberries in the container. Therefore, by providing multiple protrusions on the four side surfaces as in this product, when multiple strawberries are arranged and stored in multiple vertical tiers in this product, the stepped shape of the protrusions can prevent the strawberries in the upper tier from getting into the gaps between the strawberries in the lower tier. This allows multiple strawberries to be stably packaged.
