Roller chain usage limit gauge

Abstract

This item is a roller chain service limit gauge for checking the service limit due to wear and elongation of the roller chain. As shown in the usage reference diagram (1), when the pin of a roller chain stretched in a straight line is aligned with the left groove that matches the designation number of the roller chain, as shown in the usage reference diagram (2), when the roller chain is new, the pin is located at the left end of the right groove, but when the wear and elongation of the roller chain reaches the allowable maximum value, the pin abuts against the right end of the groove, and the service limit of the roller chain is determined.
