Abstract

This product is an infant pillow used to prevent positional plagiocephaly and other conditions caused by infants' habitual positioning, and to keep the shape of the infant's head round. As shown in Reference Figure 1, the infant pillow consists of a main body and a cover that houses the main body. The main body houses a cushioning material that forms a spindle-shaped recess that is long in the vertical direction in the center. The upper and lower sides of the main body have spindle-shaped recesses formed of cushioning material. As shown in the plan view and bottom view, the height of the bottom view side of the recess is lower than the height of the plan view side so as not to put strain on the infant's neck. When the insert cushion is inserted into the lower part of either the left or right side of the main body, the main body deforms asymmetrically on the left and right sides of the spindle-shaped recess, and corrects the infant's habitual positioning, as shown in Reference Figure 1 (corresponding to a side view), Reference Figure 2 (corresponding to a top view), and Reference Figure 3 (corresponding to a top view).
