Wiring box

Abstract

This item relates to a wiring box used to install switches, outlets, modular jacks for LAN cables, etc., on a wall or other surface. Referring to a reference diagram showing how it can be used, this item has a connection section that allows the tip of a conduit to be inserted into the item from the rear side. The connection section consists of a rib that extends from the side wall and an engaging section that protrudes from the inner surface of the rib and engages with the conduit. The engaging section is positioned outside the side wall by the rib, allowing the conduit to be inserted without its tip going too far inside the item.
