Abstract

This article is a socket that is connected to an impact driver when tightening or loosening a bolt, and is configured so that the hexagonal shaft for connection to the impact driver is replaceable. Conventionally, the insertion hole of the hexagonal shaft has the same shape as the hexagonal shaft. In contrast, the socket of this article has a larger diameter than the hexagonal shaft hole at the side of the hexagonal shaft insertion hole closest to the impact driver. This allows a longer distance to be taken to exert the twisting effect when the bolt cannot be tightened any further and torque is applied, thereby increasing the effect of releasing the torque and significantly improving the durability of the hexagonal shaft in particular. In addition, the distance over which the hexagonal shaft is exposed is shorter than when the insertion hole is simply made shallow to take up the distance to exert the twisting effect, and the aesthetic appearance is prevented from being impaired. The bolt side may be a socket type or an adapter type, and there is no limitation.
