Abstract

This article is a lift device used for lifting and transporting luggage in factories, warehouses, etc. The lift device according to this article includes a base movable on a floor surface, a slide body slidable back and forth on the base, a mast erected on the slide body, a carriage supported on the mast so as to be able to rise and fall, a pair of load-receiving members whose base ends are supported on the carriage and extended forward, and a pair of wheels provided on the pair of load-receiving members, the pair of wheels being configured to be displaceable between a stored position at substantially the same height as the pair of load-receiving members and an deployed position in which they protrude downward from the load-receiving members.
