Abstract

This article is a support receiving device that is attached to a mounting hole of a base material such as furniture and supports a supported object. For example, as shown in "Reference Figure 1 showing the state of use," it can be used as a socket to support an angle adjustment metal fitting used in a headrest of a sofa. This article is composed of an annular flange and a cylindrical body, and can be divided into a main body that is integral with the annular flange and a divided part that can be separated from the annular flange. The main body and the divided part are integrated by fitting a semicircular rib into the inner edge of the annular flange and engaging the locking protrusion with the bridge part. An elastic piece is formed by making a U-shaped slit in the cylindrical body, and a locking claw part is protruded from the upper edge of the inner circumferential surface. When using this article, as shown in "Reference Figure 1 showing the state of use," the article is embedded in a mounting hole provided in a base material by driving it from above with a hammer or the like. Next, when the support shaft of the supported object is inserted into the cylindrical body of this article, the elastic piece is pushed outward. Furthermore, by pushing the support shaft in, as shown in "Reference Figure 2 showing the state of use," the locking claw portion of the article engages with the annular groove portion provided on the outer surface of the support shaft, preventing the support shaft from coming loose and supporting the supported device.
