Abstract
The article of this design is a frame constituting the frame of a folding bed. This article is a slat-like frame consisting of a pair of side panels extending in the longitudinal direction of the folding bed and a plurality of connecting plates arranged perpendicular to the pair of side panels and connecting the pair of side panels to each other. This article can also be called a slat frame for a folding bed. As shown in the "Reference perspective view showing the names of each part", the folding bed is composed of a pair of frames which are the article foldable via a rotation support part, a plurality of legs which rotatably support each frame, a plurality of links which connect the side panels, legs and rotation support parts of the pair of frames, a biasing spring which biases the pair of frames to rotate in a direction approaching each other (see "Reference front view 1 showing the usage state"), and a stopper which maintains the pair of frames in a predetermined rotation state. The stopper has a pair of protruding projections on its back side, and when the pair of frames are deployed horizontally, the pair of protruding projections fit into a pair of recessed portions formed in the link, so that the stopper is held on the outer surface of the link. Furthermore, as shown in the "Front View", "Rear View", "Perspective View", and "Reference Enlarged Front View of Section AA", two fitting grooves are formed on the outer surface of one end in the longitudinal direction of each side plate constituting the article. Furthermore, as shown in the "BB Line Cross-Section", "BB Line Cross-Section Showing Enlarged Part", and "Reference Enlarged Cross-Section of Section C", one end in the longitudinal direction of each side plate constituting the article has a through hole penetrating through the plate thickness direction. When the pair of frames are rotated away from each other against the force of the biasing spring, the mating protrusion protruding from the inside of the leg fits into one of the mating grooves, as shown in "Reference Enlarged Oblique View Showing the Usage State" and "Reference Enlarged Front View 1 Showing the Usage State", and the pair of frames are maintained in a horizontally expanded state, as shown in "Reference Enlarged Oblique View Showing the Usage State" and "Reference Front View 1 Showing the Usage State".Furthermore, when the pair of frames are rotated toward each other from the horizontally deployed state, the mating protrusion on the inside of the leg is positioned between the two mating grooves, as shown in "Reference Enlarged Front View 2 Showing the Usage State". In this state, one of the protrusions of the stopper removed from the link is fitted into a recess formed in the side plate of each frame, and the other protrusion is fitted into a recess of the link corresponding to the side plate of each frame, thereby maintaining the pair of frames rotated in an approximately inverted V shape, as shown in "Reference Oblique View 2 Showing the Usage State" and "Reference Front View 2 Showing the Usage State". Furthermore, when the stopper is released from the state in which the pair of frames have rotated into an approximately inverted V shape and the pair of frames are further rotated in a direction approaching each other, the mating protrusion on the inside of the leg fits into the mating groove of the other, as shown in ``Reference Enlarged Front View 3 Showing the State in Use'', and in this state the stopper is positioned at an angle and one of the protrusions fits into the recessed portion of the side plate of one of the oppositely arranged frames, and the other protrusion fits into the recessed portion of the side plate of the other frame, thereby fixing the opposing links of the pair of frames together with the stopper, and the pair of frames are maintained in a folded state so that they are parallel to each other, as shown in ``Reference Oblique View 3 Showing the State in Use'' and ``Reference Front View 3 Showing the State in Use''.
