Swallowing function training materials

Abstract

This item is a swallowing function training device that is held in the mouth. The swallowing reflex causes the back of the tongue to be pressed against the upper palate, strengthening the muscles of the tongue and epiglottis and maintaining and recovering swallowing function. Reference figures 1 and 2, which show how the item is used, are an example of how the item is used. As shown in reference figure 1, the item is attached to a beverage container or the like that can hold beverage liquid, and as shown in reference figure 2, the item is held in the mouth so that it comes into contact with the deepest part of the hard palate (in front of the soft palate), and the beverage liquid coming out of the spout (slit) is swallowed, which causes the swallowing reflex and allows training.
