Operating room interior

Abstract

This interior design is for an operating room with multiple shooting lights on the ceiling above the operating table and surface lighting around them. The shooting lights, which allow for adjustment of the lighting direction, can illuminate the operating field with high illuminance in any area without causing a shadow, while the surface lighting can illuminate the entire area evenly, creating a shadow-free environment in the room. This eliminates the need for ceiling-suspended operating lights (shadowless lights) that have been used in the past, and also makes it possible to brightly illuminate the entire room. In addition, since there is no need to install ceiling-suspended operating lights and the ceiling height of the operating room can be set low, it is possible to reduce the floor height and cut the cost of the building structure, and it is also possible to set up operating rooms in outpatient clinics and wards with low floor heights, or to renovate existing hospital rooms into operating rooms.
