Safety cone attachment

Abstract

This item is an attachment to be attached to the upper end of a hollow truncated cone-shaped safety cone. The attachment comprises a pair of upper and lower flanges formed in a circular ring shape, a hollow cylindrical outer wall connecting the lower surface of the upper flange and the upper surface of the lower flange, a hollow cylindrical inner wall cantilevered downward from the lower surface of the upper flange inside the outer wall and fitted into the cylindrical wall at the upper end of the safety cone, and a locking claw that protrudes horizontally outward from the lower end of the inner wall and engages with a downward-facing receiving surface formed on the inner surface of the cylindrical wall of the safety cone. Four through holes for hanging fingers are opened in the circumferential direction of the outer wall. The attachment can be used as an adapter for mounting and holding an indicator lamp on the upper part of the safety cone. The safety cone can be lifted by hanging fingers on the through holes of the attachment as shown in Reference Figure 2 (a) showing the usage state, or by holding the attachment with fingers placed on the through holes as shown in Reference Figure 2 (b).
