Step riser

Abstract

This item is a trim material to separate the tread of a spiral staircase from the wall or pillar that is in contact with the outer or inner circumference of the tread, and consists of a horizontal section and hanging parts hanging down from both ends. The hanging parts are in the shape of a right-angled isosceles triangle in cross section, and the corners other than the right angle are chamfered to suit the angle where the tread meets the wall or pillar (see enlarged cross section of line A-A'). This item can be used by cutting the horizontal section at any position depending on the installation situation, or by joining the cut surfaces together as appropriate (see Reference Figure 1 showing the usage state and Reference Figure 2 showing the usage state).
