Welt material for school bags

Abstract

This design is a gusset member that constitutes the stationery storage section in a school bag for storing notebooks, books, etc., and the gusset member stands up so that the bottom part of the stationery storage section is in the center and the gusset wall parts are opposed to each other on the left and right sides. The gusset member of this design is distributed in a belt-like state as shown in the reference development diagram, and during the manufacturing process of the school bag, the left and right gusset walls are erected to face each other and formed into an upward-facing U-shape as shown in the front view. After that, a front plate (also called the front section) is sewn to the front side and a back plate is sewn to the rear side to form a stationery storage section that opens at the top.
