Water-stopping tool for pipe branching

Abstract

This item is a water-stopping tool for a piping branch section, which is used to perform water-stopping processing on a branch section of a main pipe with a rehabilitating pipe installed inside. By operating an operating part located above a base section including a flange, this item allows the entire insertion section located below the base section to rotate around an axis perpendicular to the flange (see the hatched part in [Reference front view showing the state after deformation] (A)), a part of the insertion section including the tip section to be pulled up (see the hatched part in the same figure (B)), or a part of the insertion section including the tip section to rotate around another axis perpendicular to the flange (see the hatched part in the same figure (C)). This item is used by inserting the insertion section into a cylindrical metal sleeve fitted into the opening of a rehabilitating pipe with a rubber ring placed over it, as shown in [Reference Figure 1 showing the state of use]. With this item, the lower end of the metal sleeve can be folded outward while compressing the rubber ring, as shown in [Reference Figure 2 showing the state of use].
