Abstract
This product is a component for capturing animals such as deer and wild boar, and is the main part of a so-called snare trap that is buried underground. The "outer tube" of this product is tapered and the internal "footplate" is inversely tapered, making it easy for animals to step through the footplate, and because the outer tube is set high, the "wire" can be used to snare the animal around the base of the leg rather than the ankle, resulting in a higher capture rate than conventional snare traps.
