Container for packaging

Abstract

This article is a packaging container formed by molding a sheet-like blank shown in the reference development by a press. The blank shown in the reference development is folded in mountain folds at the broken lines and in valley folds at the two-dot chain lines, and the blank is pressed and heated during molding, whereby the synthetic resin coating layer provided on the surface of the blank melts, and the blank is crimped to maintain its shape as a packaging container. Furthermore, after the outer edge of the blank is edge-wrapped to a substantially circular cross section, the outer edge is pressurized from above and below to form an edge-wrapped portion at the edge of the container that has a substantially elliptical cross section and flat portions on the top and bottom surfaces, thereby improving the overall strength and stably maintaining the shape of the container. When a lid sheet material for sealing this article is bonded to the edge-wrapped portion, the flat portion is formed on the upper surface of the edge-wrapped portion, improving adhesion.
