Container for packaging

Abstract

This article is a packaging container formed by shaping a sheet-like blank shown in the reference development drawing by a press machine. While the blank shown in the reference development drawing is folded in a mountain fold at the dashed line and in a valley fold at the two-dot chain line, the blank is heated while being pressed during shaping, so that the synthetic resin coating layer provided on the surface of the blank melts, and the blank is crimped to maintain the shape as a packaging container. Further, the outer edge of the blank is edge-rolled to form an edge-rolled portion having a substantially circular cross-section at the edge of the container, thereby improving the overall strength and stably maintaining the shape of the container.
