Dimpled steel pipe

Abstract

This article is mainly manufactured by subjecting a steel pipe or the like to dimpling or the like. For example, it is provided as a decorative column for supporting a signboard or the like, or is driven into the ground or the like as a steel pipe pile. This article is used in appropriate dimensions with a length in the longitudinal direction of about 1 m to about 7 m. This article is used in the state of a black pipe as it is after rolling a steel pipe or the like, or in the state where the outer surface of the steel pipe or the like is coated with zinc plating, synthetic resin or the like. In this article, nine rows of groove portions are formed in the circumferential direction of the pipe body, and these groove portions are formed in two stages in the longitudinal direction of the pipe body. In this article, nine rows and two stages of groove portions are formed again through a region without groove portions in the longitudinal direction. In this article, three rolls each having three rows of protrusions are used, and by passing a steel pipe or the like inside these rolls, dimpling or the like is performed from three directions in the circumferential direction of the pipe body, and nine rows of groove portions extending in the longitudinal direction of the pipe body are formed on the outer surface of the pipe body. In this article, the groove portions formed in nine rows in the circumferential direction of the pipe body are regularly arranged, so that it is possible to give the viewer a neat aesthetic feeling and a strong impression in the distribution process or the like.
