Container for packaging

Abstract

This article is a packaging container formed by molding a sheet-like blank shown in the reference development drawing by a press machine. While the blank shown in the reference development drawing is folded in a mountain fold at the broken line and in a valley fold at the two-dot chain line, the blank is heated while being pressed during molding, so that the synthetic resin coating layer provided on the surface of the blank melts, and the blank is crimped to maintain the shape as a packaging container. Further, after the outer edge of the blank is edge-wound into a substantially circular cross-sectional shape, the outer edge is pressed from above and below, and at the edge of the container, an edge-wound portion having a substantially oval cross-section and flat portions on the upper and lower surfaces is formed, so that the strength is improved as a whole and the shape of the container is stably maintained. When a lid sheet material for sealing this article is adhered to the edge-wound portion, since a flat portion is formed on the upper surface of the edge-wound portion, the adhesion is improved. The edge-wound portion having a substantially oval cross-section has improved strength in the direction parallel (lateral direction) to the horizontal direction and is suitable for wrap packaging. This article has a step formed on the side surface and two ribs formed in the horizontal direction.
