Seawater filter

Abstract

As shown in the "Reference Diagram Showing the Usage State", this article is a seawater filter for marine equipment that uses seawater as the engine's cooling water, etc. As shown in the "Reference Cross-Sectional Diagram Showing the Transparent Part", this article is equipped with a main body for the filter, a transparent cover plate, a cover retainer, two filter baskets (only one is shown in the drawing), a cylindrical anti-corrosion zinc, a valve body having an inlet and an outlet, a valve core, etc. By rotating the valve core, both the inlet and the outlet of the valve body can be blocked, or seawater can be made to flow into one of the filter baskets or the other. Thus, according to this article, when the valve core is rotated so that seawater flows into one of the filter baskets, the seawater flows in from the inlet of the valve body, passes through one of the filter baskets, and is filtered by one of the filter baskets, and the filtered seawater flows out from the outlet of the valve body and becomes the engine's cooling water. Also, according to this article, when one of the filter baskets is clogged and the valve core is rotated so that seawater flows into the other filter basket, the seawater flows in from the inlet of the valve body, passes through the other filter basket, and is filtered by the other filter basket, and the filtered seawater flows out from the outlet of the valve body and becomes the engine's cooling water. Further, according to this article, by rotating the valve core to block both the inlet and the outlet of the valve body, or by making seawater flow into one of the filter baskets or the other, both of the filter baskets, or one of the filter baskets or the other can be cleaned.
