The water heater generates combustion gas by using the air taken in from the air supply port inside the casing part, and generates hot water by heat-exchanging this combustion gas with the water supply. In addition, the water heater exhausts the exhaust gas containing the combustion gas after heat exchange from the exhaust pipe part to the outside of the casing part. The air supply cover is provided with an air supply frame that covers the air supply port formed on the front surface of the casing part. This air supply frame has an edge portion arranged along the peripheral surface of the air supply port and contacting the front surface of the casing part, fixing pieces formed on a part of the edge portion and formed on the left and right of the air supply cover, an opening facing the air supply port on the front side of the water heater, and an air intake on the right side surface. A cover plate that can open and close the opening of the air supply frame is detachably attached to the air supply cover by fixing screws. The air supply cover is fixed to the side surface of the casing part by fixing pieces using fixing screws, etc.
