Abstract
The article according to the present design (hereinafter referred to as "this article") is a pitcher for storing drinking water or the like stored inside in a refrigerator or the like, and includes a main body having a substantially circular opening that opens upward, and a lid that closes the opening of the main body via an annular first sealing material. The lid of this article is provided with a substantially I-shaped gripping piece that connects one side end and the other side end at the center of the upper surface thereof, and a spout that bulges slightly outward from one side end of this gripping piece communicates with the opening of the main body through a substantially circular communication hole. The gripping piece of the lid of this article is provided with a water injection lever that is swingably supported on the other side of the center of the opening of the main body. The water injection lever of the lid of this article is provided with a protruding piece that protrudes downward from one side thereof, and a bottomed cylindrical second sealing material that shields the communication hole by pressing from above is attached to the lower end of this protruding piece. Further, the water injection lever of the lid of this article is provided with a substantially triangular protrusion that protrudes upward as it goes to the other side, and a lock piece that locks the water injection lever so that it cannot swing is slidably supported to the other side. And, the water injection lever of the lid of this article shields the communication hole by pressing from above by the second sealing material at the lower end of the protruding piece when the lock piece is located on one side and is in a closed state. On the other hand, the water injection lever of the lid of this article swings upward by sliding contact with the protrusion when the lock piece is slid to the other side and is in an open state, thereby pulling up the lower end of the protruding piece to release the shielding of the communication hole by the second sealing material, so that drinking water or the like inside the main body can be poured from the spout.
