Abstract
This article is a lure comprising a body formed such that a substantially strip-shaped plate material has a fish-shaped contour, and a head formed by the plate material. Through holes are formed in the front and rear portions of the body, and as shown in the reference right side views 1 and 2, a shaft can be inserted through the through holes. Needles, weights, etc. can be connected to the shaft. Also, the lure can be used without a weight, but the weight can be attached to the shaft inside the body (reference right side view 1), or attached to the tip of an arm provided on the shaft (reference right side view 2), etc. This lure rotates around the axis of the shaft or sways around the axis of the shaft in the water. The lure is made of, for example, metal such as brass or stainless alloy, synthetic resin, etc. Depending on the material of the body, when the body and the shaft come into contact, a sound is generated and light is reflected and flashed. Also, when the lure is pulled via a thread connected to the shaft, it swims in an irregular trajectory (such as meandering) in the water. Further, when gravity acts predominantly, the body sinks downward in the water while maintaining a substantially horizontal state, rotating around the axis of the shaft or swaying left and right around the axis of the shaft. The rotation direction of the body is not a fixed direction, and may be clockwise or counterclockwise when viewed from the front of the lure. Also, the rotation direction of the body may change during sinking or towing. A plurality of holes in the shape of circles or the like may be formed in the plate material of the body and arranged in one row or a plurality of rows as represented by broken lines, whereby the rotation speed, sway width, and sway speed of the body can be adjusted. Simulated eyes may be provided on the head as represented by broken lines, or a net-like plate material or the like may be provided on the side surface of the body as shown in the reference right side view 2.
